Sunday's Message
"The High Calling of Motherhood"
Proverbs 31:10-31

A.  We are Celebrating the High Calling of Motherhood
B.  We are Pondering a Growing Problem in Motherhood
     1. Refine your priorities according to God's will
             a. Walking with Him (Luke 10:38-42)
             b. Helping your husband (Gen. 2:18)
             c. Being a homemaker (Titus 2:3-5)
      2. Observe the carpenter's rule
                - measure twice, saw once

C.  We are Mourning American Tragedy of Motherhood
     1. Know what the definition of abortion is? Oxford Dictionary:
"the procuring of premature delivery so as to destroy offspring."

   "The Centrality of the Cross"
   Part 1 - Romans 3:21-26

A. Christ Suffered and Bled and Died to Absorb the Wrath of God

1. God's Law demands that we love Him with all of our Heart,
but we have loved other things more.

            - We glorify what we enjoy most and isn't God
   2. Since God is just, He does not sweep these crimes under
the rug; He feels a holy Wrath against them

            - A holy curse hangs over all sin and all people
   3. But God is not Content to show wrath no matter how holy it is.
            - Jesus Christ does not just cancel the wrath, He absorbs it and deverts
                                                             it from us to Himself
                                                          - God's wrath was spent, not withdrawn
                                                          - Propituation - means to satisfy God's wrath
   4. If God were not just, there would be not just for His Son to suffer and die
            - But God is both just and loving and His Love is willing to meet the demands of His justice
